Pregnancy and your professional life can work together. I advise all my patients to continue with their work till 3rd trimester of Pregnancy, unless advised otherwise by your Doctor. Being engaged in work, and meeting people professionally and socially will minimize your tension levels.

2. Is it safe to travel during Pregnancy?
You can securely travel throughout your Pregnancy till 3rd trimester (30 weeks of Pregnancy); unless encouraged otherwise due to high risk Pregnancy.

Walking is generally recommended at all stages. Your Gynecologist may also recommend on specific Pelvic workouts to enhance opportunities of Normal Delivery.

3. Tips that can assist me remain comfy throughout Office Work?

• Take short walk after every 2-3 hrly.
• Drink Plenty of Water.
• Take Small snacks to prevent hypoglycemia- Fresh Fruits/ Dry Fruits.
• Avoid intake of Tea/ Coffee/ Aerated beverages- Replace it with Coconut water/ Fresh Juice.
• Frequently alter your sitting position.
• Antacids/ Anti-Emetic medications should be kept handy (as prescribed by your Doctor).
• Wear Comfortable loose clothing- Opt for Maternity Pants.
• Stay away from Active & Passive Smoking; and Alcoholic drinks.

Tips for a Normal Pregnancy Outcome

" It's a MYTH that you need to eat for TWO during Pregnancy.
Rather, you need to consider consuming TWICE as Healthy. ".

CALORIE INTAKE: The normal requirement during Pregnancy is 300- 400 Kcal daily over & & above your regular consumption. Daily calorie count must remain in the variety of 2200- 2500 Kcal each day Child birth for singleton pregnancy.

In case of twins or triplet Pregnancy, an additional 300 Kcal each day for each foetus.
